Despite the many challenges we may face in life, the blessings around us are countless. When we take a moment to appreciate and nurture these blessings, we often find these obstacles much easier to overcome with patience.

This abstract representation of the concept of sabr, or patience, illustrates the reality that the flow of blessings in our lives is constant and innumerable. This ‘flow’ of blessings (green shape flowing down) is harnessed as a powerful force when we pause to hold and nurture it (orange shape), leading to the emergence of a beautiful patience essential when persevering through and overcoming difficulties.  When we consistently exercise patience, we can ultimately discover a path to overcome our difficulties (deep green path to the left).
